## Where Life360 does things differently

Life360 bundles family-safety extras glancy doesn't try to replace: automatic crash detection, driving reports (speeding, hard braking, rapid acceleration), and SOS alerts. Its free plan includes 2 days of location history plus a weekly family driving summary - Gold and Platinum plans extend history and add individual driving reports.

Life360 also offers "Ghost Mode," a paid feature that shows an approximate area instead of a precise pin. Unlike glancy's approximate-location setting, it isn't available on the free plan.

## Switching from Life360 to glancy

1. Note who is in your Life360 Circle, then send each of them a glancy connection request. Like Circles, a glancy connection only becomes active once both sides accept.
2. Life360 doesn't notify you when someone views your location, and its approximate-location mode is a paid add-on. In glancy, access notifications and precision control are on Free from day one.
3. If crash detection or driving reports matter to you, there's no need to fully replace Life360 - the two apps aren't mutually exclusive.
