Some sharing needs follow a routine - a school run, a work shift, a regular commute. glancy’s scheduled sharing lets you define recurring time windows by weekday and timezone, something none of the mainstream location apps offer.
How it works
- Choose which weekdays and time windows your location is shared.
- Each window uses its saved timezone, including while travelling. The device zone does not replace it automatically.
- Set a different schedule per connection - a schedule for a teen’s school hours doesn’t have to match a partner’s commute.
Outside the scheduled window, sharing pauses automatically - no manual toggling required.
When a group manages the share
A group schedule applies to every member of that group. Personal rules stay inactive during membership. Multiple time windows are alternatives: one must match. Without windows, an active share applies around the clock again, so the app warns before deleting the final window. A global pause still takes priority.

Does the schedule account for my timezone if I travel?
Each time window keeps its saved timezone. While travelling, the editor shows any difference from your device zone and lets you explicitly switch it.
