The owner manages seats in a separate glancy Family group. Apple and Google handle purchase and billing only; store family sharing is not required. Removing a member ends their Plus access immediately. Membership never grants access to anyone’s location automatically.
glancy makes money from a subscription, not from your location. That is why there are no ads and no data brokers here.

What you can do with glancy+ day to day
Give contacts private nicknames, schedule recurring sharing windows and pin more people as favourites on Home. Groups let you manage shared permissions; their rules take priority over personal rules during membership.
The help guides explain each action with real app screenshots. They also explain which permissions may apply again after removing a group member and why a private nickname differs from your profile name.
You cancel. What happens then?
Your account stays, your connections stay, your location sharing keeps working.
After the paid period, the free limits apply again: the log shows 3 days instead of 90 days, and you can use one group instead of up to ten. Activity entries older than 3 days are deleted after a 7-day grace period. If you subscribe again during that period, they are retained. With glancy+ family, invited accounts also lose Plus access then. Existing location shares remain subject to the rules you set; Family membership never grants location access by itself.
Why the safety features are free
Location apps often use price to lock away safety features. With Life360, for example, approximate location costs extra.
We do not do that. A safety feature behind a paywall is not a safety feature. Access notifications, precision control and pausing are available to everyone, permanently and with no time limit.
